With its official opening in October 2003, The Fairground
Craft and Design Centre has transformed a near derelict
and unused 13th century listed site into a fascinating
visitor attraction for the Andover area.
Originally a famous sheep fair, the buildings have been sympathetically renovated
to provide work space for artists and craft makers.
The Fairground is becoming well established as a centre for quality craft and design.
Visitors can visit 10 other craft workshops on site.
There is also a gallery, with frequently changing exhibitions and an excellent coffee shop.
